Mariah Carey posts photo of her arm in sling after dislocating shoulder, cracking rib: Husband Nick Cannon says injury was ‘pretty serious’

Mariah Carey had a shoulder set back while filming the remix music video for “#Beautiful” Sunday.
The 43-year-old singer, who dislocated the joint, insisted the show must go on while she was rushed to the hospital according to her hubby Nick Cannon.
“She’s such a trooper,” Cannon, 32, told the“Today” show on Tuesday.
“I was going to rush to the hospital with her,” but, she said to her husband who was directing the music video, “’You get back in there and finish that video!’ Then, after they put (her) shoulder back in place, bandaged her all up, she came back to the video early in the morning and finished out everything.”
A rep for Carey told Us Weekly in a statement Monday: “Mariah injured herself while filming a video with Jeezy for the remix of #Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon. She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine.”
However, Cannon said that his wife’s injury was a bit more serious than originally reported.
“She was in this nice, beautiful gown, heels on and everything, and was
kind of on this platform and reached and slipped and fell on her whole side,”
 Cannon said about her tumble.

“It was pretty serious. Not only did she dislocate her shoulder, she actually cracked a rib and … she chipped her shoulder bone.”
Carey uploaded a pic to Twitterof herself from the hospital bed Tuesday in a sling to show off the unfortunate result of her fall.

“Dislocated my shoulder on the remix video with Jeezy, sporting a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks!” she wrote.
